Drive traffic to your website via clickfind™ and use our SEO tools to improve results in Google and other search engines.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) principles
Simply put, SEO is about achieving better results on search engines and driving more traffic to your website. SEO is based on knowledge of how search engines work and how people look for things.
One way to improve search rankings is to make sure your website and directory listings include the words people look for. Another way is to get more links to your website. Clickfind can help with both, and more.

Directing traffic to your website
clickfind™ is optimised to improve results in external search engines (like Google) and drive traffic to your website via your clickfind listings. Even if you don’t have a website, customers can find your clickfind listings via search engines (as well as on the clickfind website).
SEO tools for your business
We provide various SEO tools to optimise your online marketing:
- Keywords: define a range of keywords to cover different terms that people may search for, and use our site stats to see which keywords people are looking for on clickfind
- Web page links: as well as linking to your website homepage from your business listing, you can link to specific web pages from individual product/service listings and specify the type of link (buy online, enquire or get more info)
- Anchor links: set specific words within your listings to link directly to your website. Links that describe the content of the page they go to are rated higher by search engines
- Google Maps: your listing can be published direct to Google Maps, so people can find you when doing a geographic search. When Google Base is in Australia, you'll be able to publish to that too
- Customised web address: you can request a unique domain name, such as www.mydomain.clickfind.com.au. If your domain includes words that are relevant to your business, that'll help boost SEO results
- Website checking tools: we provide a simple tool that lets you check PageRank, Alexa Ranking and W3C accessibility for your website. If your site doesn't perform well, you can find a web designer or SEO expert on clickfind.
- Content creation: creating content that people want to read is another way to boost SEO performance. The next version of clickfind will include an “articles” section so you can add product/service news and articles to attract more business.
